Thoroughbred's XML DataServer helps connect your smart devices to your Thoroughbred Database. As a demonstration, we built a simple Mobile Service App that connects to Thoroughbred's XML DataServer to gain instant access to the Service Call information in the Thoroughbred Database. The information includes the telephone number and address that have been linked to the device's native phone and mapping apps.
Instructions to install the Mobile Service Calls demo app on an Android™ device.
- Select the Google Play™ app on your Android device.
- In the search bar, enter "Thoroughbred XML Demo".
- Select #1 from search result (should be the only one) and Install
- After installation, select Open or locate the App on your device with this icon:
You can select one of the 3 options to list calls. Selecting a call will display the call details. From there, you can get the address, contact information, e-mail or map it!
