The 8.7.1 pre-release was released to the Beta Program today. 8.7.1 is primarily a maintenance release based on comments and suggestions we have received from the Thoroughbred community. However, it also includes a number of enhancements, a few of which are highlighted below:

1. License Activation available during Basic installation
2. VIP automatic conversion of prompt messages to buttons
3. Ghost Task supports Quiet mode to not wait for Screen I/O
4. Configurable NUM function for handling embedded spaces in strings
5. MySQL support
6. New XML string functions
7. Windows Web Environment for IIS
