Secure Your Thoroughbred System Data with |
|
Thoroughbred version 8.8.2 and greater products include an interface to AES-256 bit strong encryption provided by the OpenSSL Software Foundation. This method was selected because of the excellent reputation of the foundation and the minimal impact on performance. With Thoroughbred 8.8.2 and above you can secure your data by encrypting it. See the release notes listed below for more information. There is no noticeable degradation of system performance when the data is encrypted. Support for encrypting Auto-Expanding Direct files uses an interface to AES-256 bit encryption provided by the OpenSSL Software Foundation, and conforms to the European GDPR "Data at Rest" regulations.
